Access Group

Burnham Community Association's photo.Burnham Access Group actively works with, and on behalf of people with disabilities, to promote access and mobility for all in the Burnham area. Examples of our work include campaigning for improvements to  local road crossings, for the installation of   dropped kerbs and for improved access to local shops and businesses.

The Burnham Access Group welcomes new members. If you have a disability, care for someone who has a disability or have an interest in disability access issues, then we’d love to hear from you.

 Information and Access Directory

2013 Access Directory The aim of the Directory is primarily to provide information that we hope will be helpful for people with disabilities. In addition we hope it will be of use to many other residents and visitors. The Directory is divided into three parts. The first part contains general information about many local services and facilities, the second section contains details of accessible walks and in the third section you will find detailed information about the accessibility of places of worship, schools, shops, hotels and restaurants etc in Burnham and Taplow.

The fifth edition of the Directory was published in 2013. Printed copies are available free of charge from Burnham Village Information Point
