Date for your diary – the Village Fete for 2019 will be on July 13th 2019

Inspired by the 80th anniversary of the Beano comic and this year’s ‘Mischief Makers’ Summer Reading Challenge we will be running a kid’s fancy dress competition at the village Fete.

There are two entry categories up to the age of 7yrs and 7 – 12 yrs.

The Village Fete will be held in Burnham Park along with Traylen’s Funfair and supported by the Grand Draw with some superb prizes. Tickets (£1) are available from Burnham Library Reception Desk or from BCA Ticket Sellers,
This year’s AGM will take place in Burnham Library on Monday September 26th starting at 7.30 for 8pm . Members of BCA and anyone interested in finding out more about our charity’s work are all welcome to attend.
Plans are well under way for Burnham’s annual Carnival which takes place from 12 noon to 4pm on Saturday July 11th. This year’s theme is “French Connections”. The fun starts with the Parade and continues throughout the afternoon with arena events, charity stalls, sideshows, Traylens fun fair and refreshments.

ARE YOU CONCERNED ABOUT THE CLOSURE OF THE NAT WEST BANK ON BURNHAM HIGH STREET?
Staff from Nat West bank will be at Burnham Library, Windsor Lane, Burnham on Monday March 2nd 2015 between 10am and 12 noon. There will be two short talks at 10.15am and 11am with plenty of opportunity for questions.
Find out about the alternative banking options that are available for customers once the Burnham branch closes. This meeting has been organised for local residents by Burnham Community Association.
This year’s carnival will take place on Saturday July 11th from 12 noon to 4 pm in Burnham Park. FREE admission to the Park.
Carnival Parade, stalls, arena events, music, funfair, food and lots of fun for all ages.
On the 13th of February 2014 we moved our old website into a new WordPress framework. The site can be navigated in much the same way as the previous site. We have taken this step because it is easier for us to edit the site and add new pages to it.

We will not share any information that you provide to us, it is exclusively used by Burnham Community Association on BCA matters. We hope to send out a newsletter every quarter, which will alert you to what has changed on the site and any other community matters that we feel will be of interest to you.
